CQC Mark Certification Introduction:
For product categories beyond mandatory certification, China Quality Certification Center (CQC) conducts voluntary product certification services (referred to as CQC Mark Certification). This certification indicates compliance with relevant standards for quality, safety, environmental protection, performance, etc., by affixing the CQC mark. The certification scope covers over 500 types of products. The objectives include protecting consumer safety and interests, improving domestic product quality and competitiveness in international markets, and facilitating the entry of foreign products into the domestic market.
Application Process for Certification:
1. Submission of required documentation for certification application (applicant, manufacturer, product-related information).
2. Specification of testing sample models and quantities required for certification application, and submission to designated testing organizations.
3. Timeframe for documentation review and unit classification by the certification body.
4. Standards used for sample testing, estimated testing period.
5. Scheduled initial factory inspection based on factory scale and required person-days.
6. Evaluation and issuance timeframe for qualified sample testing reports.
7. Estimated certification fees: application fees, approval and registration fees, testing fees (including whole unit testing and random safety component testing), and factory inspection fees.
Notes:
1. For applications involving multiple model specifications, provide a differentiation explanation for each model. Sample models should be representative, covering all model specifications to avoid duplicate submissions.
2. For whole unit and random component testing, besides the whole unit, technical data and samples of components should also be provided.
3. Applications for derivative products should include differentiation explanations from the original model. If necessary, provide test data for the prototype.
4. For overseas factories requiring initial factory inspections, complete the "Non-conventional Factory Inspection Form," provide product descriptions, and after laboratory confirmation of product descriptions, factory inspections can proceed during the type testing phase.
5. For change requests, submit the change application form along with the original certificate.
